AfroAutos

Auto Site for Africa by Africans

About AfroAutos

As Africa attains political maturity, it is gradually emerging as an economic powerhouse. With this perspective in mind, AfroAutos was established to provide information about vehicles for Africa.

Studies show that soon Africa will surpass South America in the demand for new vehicles. While every vehicle maker wants to cash in on the boom, not every car is good for Africa. We will find out what Africa needs.

We bring information for:

  • Automotive industry news
  • Prototypes made in Africa for Africa
  • Who is who in Africa and what they are driving
  • Used and new cars for Africa
  • Motor shows in Africa
  • Imports – duties and taxes for different countries
  • Best types of cars for African terrains and climate
  • Auto, technology and industry news from around the world

How AfroAutos started

In 2011, this site was established to look at issues that affect Africa. For once, we now tell you that Africa is not a country. It is a continent.

What is the future for AfroAutos?

We have just started. What we offer is just a tip of the iceberg.

With the internet fast becoming the medium of choice in Africa, we will bring genuine, well researched auto information, tourist information.

Out of our passion for Africa, we will educate others about the African continent. We will study trends to know what to expect of the economy and the auto industry.

Considering that 90% of cargo in Africa is transported by road, we will not relent in our quest to help users find genuine information.

We wish you happy, safe driving in Africa.

Hi, yes, I think that would be appropriate, but would you wait until I confirm with my boss? Cheers and have a good time.
