Over the years, people have always tried to improve the quality of their vehicles in all aspects. This is all about the performance, the looks and the comfort. People customize their vehicles for different reasons but at the end of the day, it all comes to improvement and changes. There are quite a number of parts that can be changed to fit the needs of the drivers from the engine, the body and accessories. We will look at a few of these customizable parts and what needs to be done for best results. First, you will need to find a good custom garage where all the ‘pimping’ will be done by experts.

Entertainment System
There are many vehicles on the road with awesome music system and screens all for entertainment. If the system in your car cannot handle high volumes comfortably without distortion or hurting your ears, then it is time for an entertainment system upgrade. This means that you will have to go for aftermarket products with good quality sound and higher efficiency rating. An amplifier and an equalizer will work perfectly to give you good quality sound. For game lovers you can have screens installed at the back of the driver’s and front passenger’s seat to allow the connection of a gaming console. These screens can also be used to watch movies or as GPS system screens.

Body
This is the most obvious customizable part that requires changes simply because it is what people see. There are quite a number of kits that can be used to upgrade or change the look of your vehicle to whatever you want. Some of the things included in the body kit are the front and rear bumpers, spoilers, diffusers, side skirts and paint jobs. When customizing your cars body, make sure you go for Poly-Urethane because it is rubber-like and thus will be more resistant to damage as compared to standard materials.

Accessories
The market is not short of accessories from sporty steering wheels and gauges to gear levers. Other accessories include handbrakes, and pedals, all in effort to improve the interior of your vehicle. The good thing about some of these accessories is the fact that they not only enhance your car’s interior, they are also functional. A Shorter customized gear lever will facilitate shorter shifting thus making the process easier and faster.

Tires and rims
It is believed that tires and rims are the ultimate sign of a pimped out car. These two will go together because it is impossible to change the size and type of tires without considering the existing rims. There is a wide range of wheels that can be incorporated in the customization to bring out a neat sporty look. From the small sports rims to the huge spoked rims in the 20s, you can choose any depending on what tickles your fancy.

Pimping out a ride is in this generation’s bones and thus when doing it, make sure you understand all the involved aspects and the dos and don’ts of vehicle customization.

Caution: Remember that a souped car will be flashy and will attract vandals. The insurance premiums will be high, but for customization….. anything goes!
