Car cost and maintenance expenses

In Africa, anyone can gain fame overnight just by being seen driving a Cadillac Escalade. Let alone owning it. It is an indication of elegance and great luxury. However, there is a price for everything and owing an Escalade comes with huge costs of purchase and fuel consumption. The car is probably known for its high purchase costs and maintenance. Bobi disclosed that he had bought the car at $80,000 from California in USA a few years back. It is estimated that the car can average 11 miles per gallon of fuel. The car’s consumption is not light either, capped at 11mpg. In fact, Wine discloses that it costs him about shs200000 to fuel his Escalade daily. This can be attributed to his routine travels as he preaches the gospel of his music to his fans.

The spare parts for the car are rarely available in Africa. With such high maintenance costs, only persons with deep pockets can manage to own this machine.
