Motor shows exhibition, held once or twice in a year, are very popular across the continent. The exposition offers up-to-date automobile models, debuts, concept cars, or out- of- production classics. This article features the latest news about motors shows across Africa.

Johannesburg International Motor Show (JIMS)

Johannesburg International Motor Show 2013 Top Motor Shows in Africa

It’s the largest and most comprehensive motor show in Africa. The event features leisure vehicles, exotic marquees, passenger vehicles and part of automotive lifestyle products. The show that attracted more than 240,000 visitors last year will be held from Friday, October 16, to Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec.

Autoexpo Africa

Autoexpo Africa motor show is an annual exhibition held in Tanzania. The show aims at offering the best platform to local and global automotive manufacturers and exporters. The firm will be holding its 18th exhibition in the entire East Africa region on 27th to 29th April 2015. The exhibition that will feature truck, automobile parts, tools, components and accessories is expected to bring world leading manufacturers, suppliers and service providers together.

Gauteng Motor Fest

The popular show provides pulse-racing excitement for petrol heads and motor vehicle accessories. The motor show is organized by a leading exhibition and event company in South Africa called Thebe Reed Exhibitions. The highly anticipated Gauteng Motor Fest is once again gearing up to deliver its one stop extreme “motor- entertainment” show. The show that will be held on 22nd to 24th June next year is expected to be graced by live-action performance by top celebrities.

Concour d’elegance in Kenya

Concour d’elegance is a motoring exhibition event organized by Alfa Romeo Owner’s club. The magnificent motor show features motorbikes, bicycles and luxurious vehicles. The 47th exhibition event was held at Racecourse on 17th November this year.

Lagos International Show

Lagos international show is a widely renowned show with exhibits such as luxurious Sedans, Limousines, 4WDs, Dune Buggies, and Car Accessories. The show is planned and organized by BKG Exhibitions Limited.

The glamorous motor show held annually has exhibits such as trucks, tractors and boats. The last exhibition took place on 4th- 9th May this year at Mulungusi conference center.

Fpr Motor Show-Ghana

An international exhibition for the automotive sector slated exclusively to showcase latest motors, cars, accessories and spare parts. The show aims to bring under major players and stakeholders of automotive products from Ghana and beyond.

Vintagez & Classic Auto Show

Vintagez & classic auto show is unique motoring show that happens in Kampala, Uganda. The show is widely recognized for exhibit that provides humor like Dutson model that is a very aged car model. However, there are also classic presentations such as Volkswagen beetles, range rover, land rovers and mercs.
